Apico Forged Brake Pedal – KTM SX50, Husqvarna TC50, GASGAS MC50 2024-2027

This is the Apico forged rear brake pedal for the 2024-on 50cc minis, Apico part number BPF510 BLACK/BLACK or BPF510 BLACK/ORANGE. It replaces OEM brake pedal A4001-305-0044.

Apico brake pedals are designed and tested at the highest level. They are made from 7075-T6 aluminium with an OEM-type forged shaft, and a ridged finish on the shaft gives more grip to help prevent missed braking. The flexible tip is CNC machined from billet aluminium with a stainless steel tooth plate and rubber insert for grip; the stainless plate will not wear like aluminium tips, and it is held by a tooth plate rather than screws, which can fall out. The spring-loaded tip rotates under impact, such as in a rut, to reduce damage, and a stop on the pivot holds it at 90° so it cannot rotate under the clutch cover. Each pedal comes with a cable brake snake to help prevent the pedal shaft being bent around in a collision.

Does not fit the KTM SX 50, Husqvarna TC 50 or GASGAS MC 50 2023 and earlier, the Husqvarna TC 50 Mini, or any 65cc and larger models.

Fitting tip

Grease the pivot bolt, refit the return spring, and adjust and crimp the brake snake firmly before riding. Check the pedal height and that the rear brake is not binding.

Will it fit my 2023 SX 50?
No. This pedal is for the 2024-on 50cc models only.

Does it come with the brake snake?
Yes. Each pedal comes with a cable brake snake.

What is the difference between the two colours?
Only the colour of the tip. Both are the same pedal and fit the same bikes.
