Check which spring length your bike needs. We sell both the Apico 62mm and 65mm swivel exhaust springs. KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS have used both lengths, and some bikes use both on the same pipe. These are Apico Factory Racing 65mm stainless swivel exhaust springs, supplied as a 4-pack, Judd Racing part number SPRING 65 X 4SW (Apico reference ZASY289). They replace KTM OEM spring 50305016200 (also listed against 50305016000). Apico describe them as suitable for the KTM / Husqvarna & GASGAS models from 1998 to current. The fitment table below lists the bikes the equivalent OEM 65mm spring is fitted to.

Many off-road exhaust pipes are not bolted directly to the cylinder. Instead, a flange is bolted to the exhaust port with a short stub of pipe, the exhaust slides over it, and springs hold it tight against the flange – which means the pipe is less likely to break from vibration.

Fitting tip

Use a proper exhaust spring puller to fit and remove the springs – it is quicker and saves your fingers. Replace springs that have stretched or lost tension, as a loose pipe can crack or blow at the joint.
