Check your model and year in the fitment table below. Fits the 2021-2027 KTM SX 65, Husqvarna TC 65 and GASGAS MC 65 (44.2mm fork leg). It does not fit the 2002-2020 SX 65 / TC 65 – use the Apico 45.4mm launch control – or the 85s, which need the Apico 52.9mm launch control. Fitting requires a small cut-out in the fork guard (template supplied). This is an Apico aftermarket part, not a KTM, Husqvarna or GASGAS OEM part.

This is the Apico launch control (holeshot device) for the 2021-on KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS 65s, Apico reference LC0019 44.2MM. It is CNC machined from billet aluminium with a laser-etched Apico logo and a dual-hinged design, as used by top race teams. Push the forks down, lock the device, and it keeps the front end low out of the gate and into the first corner, then releases itself on the first bump. A 4-point fork mounting button locates it precisely every time, and a fork-guard cutting template is included.

Fitting tip

Use the supplied template to mark the fork guard before cutting, and check the device engages and releases cleanly before you race. Practise a few starts so you know how far to push the forks down.

How does it release?
Once the forks compress over the first bump, the device unlocks itself and the forks return to full travel.
