  • Threadlock / Locktite242 is a medium-strength, removable blue threadlocker designed to lock and seal metal nuts and bolts to keep them from loosening due to vibration or shock

Threadlocker provides a reliable and superior lock and seal for threaded fasteners. Medium Strength Threadlocker is ideal for fastener applications requiring easy disassembly with hand tools.

 

INSTRUCTIONS

 Clean all threads (bolt and hole) with a cleaning solvent. Shake the product thoroughly before use.

 For through holes, apply several drops of product onto the bolt at the nut engagement area.

 Assemble and tighten as usual. When tightening to established torque values, torque compensation is not required.
